For those who have been following the creation of the Sippy Downs Parks Masterplan, there were a number of fantastic outcomes for the community to be delivered as a result of the plan.
Some of these new upgrades for our area include playgrounds, shade sails, a new dog park, basketball courts and additional footpaths. These are just a few examples of the awesome new things coming to Sippy Downs. For a comprehensive understanding of the document please head over to https://www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/Council/Planning-and-Projects/Council-Plans/Sippy-Downs-Parks-Master-Plan
I am jumping right in and delivering some great new footpaths to fill the missing links towards the ends of both Albany Street and Fitzwilliam Drive here in Sippy Downs. These new footpaths are fully funded and will be in place before the end of November 2018. Please see a copy of the project news releases below which detail the works occurring soon.
I’m really excited to be delivering on the promises I make to the local community and I’m extremely passionate about making our area a place we can be proud of.
Christian is the Division 6 Councillor for the Sunshine Coast Council.
Christian was elected at the age of 19 years old in October 2006. In 2008 Christian was re-elected as the local councillor for Division 6 as part of the amalgamated Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
In the 2012 local election Christian was elected unopposed, something that was unexpected and very humbling.
Having been re-elected in 2016 he feels that he has a strong mandate to work hard for the community whilst continuing to deliver important projects in Division 6.
Christian feels “blessed” having the opportunity to live on the Sunshine Coast and having the opportunity to work with local resident's to improve lived experiences in our region.
