Map stormwater works

As part of the Sippy Downs Drive Upgrade project a major upgrade to the stormwater network is required. The stormwater pipes cross Sippy Downs Drive.

The stormwater works require large trenches to be dug across Sippy Downs Drive for the installation of new stormwater pipes. For safety reasons temporary changes to traffic conditions will be required during these works.

Partial lane closures will be in place along Sippy Downs Drive and the entrance to the Service Lane will be temporarily closed from 6am – 6pm. During this time the Service Lane will operate as one-way traffic only (east to west).

Entry from Sippy Downs Drive to the Service Lane will be available via the Sippy Downs Drive-High Street U-Turn facility only.

Traffic control and safety barriers will be in place and signage will help to direct motorists.

Intermittent, medium level construction noise is to be expected including the operation of heavy machinery and large vehicle movements including cranes and trucks.

Please take extra care when travelling along Sippy Downs Drive and/or the Service Lane during this time.
