Good afternoon all,
I am pleased to announce that a new pedestrian refuge, footpaths and lighting improvements have been delivered over the school holidays and are ready to use on Stringybark Road at Buderim.
These upgrades were requested by local mums and dads and it has been a pleasure work with them on identifying what we could do to make the area safer.
After visiting the area this morning I was pleased to see students utilising the refuge to get to school in a much safer manner than they have in the past.
These types of upgrades are essential and show money well spent when using ratepayer funds in our local area.
I’d also like to recognise Division 7 Councillor Ted Hungerford for going 50/50 with me on the project.
